The Carolina Panthers make several opportunities throughout the year to give back to the community, participating in a number of charitable events around the state to benefit various organizations. Most recently, the Panthers have announced their next endeavor, which will take place via a 5K running race in Charlotte. The Blue Points 5K Road Race, which is presented by both the Carolina Panthers and Blue Shield of North Carolina, has recently been announced and will take place on Saturday, August 8 at the Panthers’ home field, Bank of America Stadium.

The Blue Points 5K Road Race will take place August 8 at 7:30 a.m. with an awards ceremony following, and the Sir Purr Toddler Trot for children under the age of 12 will be held at 8:15 a.m. After the races, the Panthers will host a Fan Fest inside Bank of America Stadium, and the Carolina Panthers will hold a scheduled practice following the morning’s events at 11 a.m. Proceeds from the upcoming Road Race event in August will go to Carolina Panthers Charities, which benefit local nonprofit organizations.
