No Place Like Home

Carolina’s win over the Chargers at San Diego last week was a huge one. The game revealed a strong Panthers offense, and quarterback Jake Delhomme stepped up like he ran the show. The most impressive part of the game, though? Carolina’s team. The camaraderie between players, all of them working together to defeat the Bolts, was incredible. It seems like they’ve all forgotten the Steve Smith incident, and team friendliness was exuded even after the game when Muhsin Muhammad gave Jake Delhomme a big fat kiss on the cheek while he was doing an interview.

Now that the team is back together and going strong, their next focus will be winning at home. With an incredible 28-21 record on the road (especially throwing in that San Diego win last week,) we all know the Panthers can dominate away games. Their record at home, however, is slightly below the league average at 24-24. Fans at the Bank of America Stadium are eagerly awaiting Sunday’s home game against Chicago, and now’s the time for the mighty Panthers to tack some more wins onto their record at home.
