Weigh in on Panthers Biggest Need

Over at Charlotte.com, Stan Olsen has written a short article asking the question “What do you think the Panthers’ biggest offseason priority should be?” and then inviting readers to sign on and give their own opinions.  A lively debate has kicked up as Panthers fans from near and far have logged in to put in their two cents on which position need is most pressing for their beloved team.  Which position do you believe is the most necessary for the Panthers to bolster next season?  Get yourself and screen name and join the debate right now!

The only problem I have with this article is Olsen’s assertion that the Panthers should look for another running back in the offseason, because DeShaun Foster is falling off.  If Olsen doesn’t know who DeAngelo Williams is, then honestly, the man has lost touch.  How can  you say that the Panthers need to waste a draft pick on a running back when you have a back up runner who is averaging more yards per carry than your starter?  The Panthers don’t need a new running back.  They simply need to start using their best running back more often.
