Carolina Panthers Trying to get on Track

Carolina Panthers Quarterback Jake Delhomme guided the Panthers to near victory in Super Bowl XXXVIII nearly three years ago and then took his team to the NFC championship game last year. So although Delhomme established himself as holding the franchise record in passing yards and completions, he was in no mood to talk about his own accomplishments when his team had just lost to the Washington Redskins, 17-13. Steve Smith may be healthy, but the Panthers are still looking for answers in this season that seems to have gotten away from them. Some say that Delhomme may the problem and argue that, even though his stats weren’t bad for Sunday’s game, he has been playing terribly all season. The Panthers may sport the sixth-best defense in the NFL, but their offense is ranked sixth-worst.
