The Washington Redskins upset the Carolina Panthers today to walk off the field with a 17-13 win, breaking a two-game losing streak for the Redskins and Redskins Quarterback Jason Campbell his first NFL victory. Carolina Panthers Tickets to their December 10 home game against the New York Giants cost anywhere from $145 to $1,000.
For a while, the highlight reel to this game didn’t appear too promising. Two blocked punts and a catch by Steve Smith at the back of the end zone were the only plays to write home about. But then Redskins Quarterback Jason Campbell more than doubled his day’s production when he connected with tight end Chris Cooley. The Redskins tight end caught the ball at midfield, escaped two tackles, and ran down the sideline to finish off a career-long 66-yard reception which concluded with him scoring the winning touchdown in the Redskins’ 17-13 victory.

Jake Delhomme completed 23-of-28 passes for just 168 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions as the Redskins put a stop to the Panthers’ two-game winning streak, forcing them off the field with a paltry record of 6-5. The Panthers fell one game behind the Saints in the NFC South as New Orleans dispatched of the Atlanta Falcons today.
