The Carolina Panthers streak of four wins since the return of star wide receiver Steve Smith came to an abrupt halt this weekend. The Cincinnati Bengals upset the Panthers with a come-from-behind win by a score of 17-14.
In the Fourth quarter, on fourth down with one yard to go, the Bengals took a huge gamble that paid off. Carson Palmer threw a bomb down the sidelines to sure-handed receiver Chad Johnson who had to dive to catch the pass for a gain of 32 yards. This play set up the Bengals for their winning touchdown.

Panthers coach John Fox has come under fire since the game for not putting Carolina’s running game to greater use this past weekend. Said Fox, “We only ran the ball four times in the second half, but we didn’t have the ball all that much in the second half.”
Given that the Bengals are ranked 25th in the NFL in run defense, it is troublesome that the Panthers couldn’t get the ground game going.
The Panthers return home this weekend to take on the Dallas Cowboys, a game that is generating a lot of hype. Fans looking to get their hands on Carolina Panthers Tickets can expect to pay anywhere between $122 and $1,158.
